A PLACE OF HONOR, REFLECTION, AND RENEWAL
Honoring Our Fallen Heroes
About the Garden
The Seattle Garden of Remembrance is a memorial dedicated to honoring Washington State residents who gave their lives in overseas service, from World War II to present-day. Dedicated in 1998 in downtown Seattle, the Garden offers an urban oasis of beauty and reflection.
“The Garden’s purpose is not to be a place to grieve or mourn. It is meant to be a place of renewal, of peace, and of celebration and thankfulness for the lives and love of those who lived among us for so short a time.”
– Priscilla “Patsy” Bullit Collins, Founder and Co-chair, Garden of Remembrance Committee
